The research master's thesis researches and analyzes the phenomenon of interdisciplinary art as a creative strategy in practice, in the discourse of Lithuanian contemporary art. The practices that are prevalent during this period and are based on the principles of interdisciplinary art are presented. Contemporary interdisciplinary synonyms and principles are analyzed, the typology of interdisciplinarity as a phenomenon is studied, the research of concepts is discussed, the projects of selected artists are discussed and the interdisciplinarity of works of art and their process is analyzed. An attempt was made to classify the activity strategies of artists creating in the Lithuanian interdisciplinary art space according to the interdisciplinary typology, and the classification was implemented. My practical master's thesis as an artist is described. Lack is explored as a philosophical, motivational, positive, and social expression in my personal and external daily life. Based on the term shortage as the main axis and starting point of practical work. The bodies of creative work are chosen in constructive forms and used to find lost objects that become like the main tool in the creative process. The emphasis on things is carried out, they are given a second chance to become something else, they are given a purpose in the field of art. An attempt was made to create a series of objects by experimenting, transcending various boundaries of materiality and interdisciplinarity in the creative process. |
