Abstract [eng] The local stability of aluminum profiles is investigated in this Master's Thesis. The research work consists of four sections. The first section discusses the possibilities of used aluminum profiles, their strengthening possibilities with composite materials and the efficiency of those materials. In the second chapter, six-point bending tests are performed with typical profile strengthening techniques for the facade building industry. The most effective method of reinforcement is determined by the ratio of load bearing capacity to dead weight. In the third chapter, tensile tests were performed to determine the mechanical properties of aluminum, compression tests were performed to determine the mechanical properties of plastic stiffeners. Three-point bending tests with locally stiffened profiles were also performed. The fourth section presents a simulated numerical model to replicate the experimental results. Based on the performed literature analysis, experiments and numerical model, conclusions and suggestions are presented. Master's Thesis consists of 45 pages, 26 figures, 2 tables and 50 literature references.
