The research of the establishment of startups in Klaipėda region was made in this master thesis. The main problems of startups establishment in Klaipeda region were set out: the realization of regional needs and the absence of regional institutions that allow ensure their successful communication, availability of technologies and the absence of their optimal application, funding limitations, entrepreneurial qualities of Klaipeda region, compared with other regions of Lithuania. A model, which allows combining the regional entrepreneurship of Lithuania and the factors of the external environment compatibility of Klaipėda region verified and adjusted by the author to the solution of the problems identified through quantitative and qualitative studies, recommendations of establishment of startups in the region of Klaipeda were promoted. The main recommendations are: knowledge acquisition and dissemination of information in the regions enforcement, the promotion of orientation of entrepreneurship of education and training, the development of cultural innovation of the region, the increase of regional funding. The results of research are relevant and applicable to all regions of the country. |
