| Abstract [eng] |
In this Master Work are presented the ballast system functions and their importance during vessel operating period. Also there are overviewied the ballast water treatment standarts, contract dates, the procedures of ballast exchange procedures. There are provided requirements of the D1 and D2 compliance, which are determined in the BWM Convention. There are analysed the ballast water treatment technologies and their selection criteria. There are presented advantages and disatvantages of methods of the ballast water treatment. There are described how the active used materials effect the vessel constructions. There are presented physico-chemical methods of ballast tank wear and anti-corrosion prevention measures. This Master Work containsscientific and methodical literature analysis of ballast water tank corrosion and impact of technology used in the treatment of corrosion parameters. At the experimental part of the research there are presented results of \"Chlorination Influence to the Vessel Structure\" analysis. There were used samples, which were cut from ballast tanks and covered accordingly PSPC standart and also zinc anodes. There is determined the percentage change in weight to the tested samples, considering the chlorine ion concentration in the solution. |
