Abstract [eng] The popularity of internet among adolescents allows us to make assumption that the latter has penetrated deeply in the lives of teenagers and plays an important role in the process of their socialization. Internet is becoming one of agents formulating teenagers’ personalities, helping them to join society life and making their lives more full-fledged. However, opportunities arising from internet have also disadvantages, and one of them is internet abuse. It must be mentioned that adolescents from single-parent families, divorced families, families touched by emigration, enter virtual life very easily due to lack of attention, communication and control. Consequently, adolescent’s physical maturity, emotional condition and quality of social life are often damaged. Therefore, school, as one of child’s key educators should pay special attention to internet abuse of at-risk adolescents’, educate them and put all efforts for the at-risk adolescents to get information about dangers of internet, the damage it causes, and about proper and safe use of internet. Object of work is opportunities of at-risk adolescents’ (aged 12-14) internet abuse at school prevention. Aim of work is to reveal the opportunities of at-risk adolescents’ (aged 12-14) internet abuse at school prevention. Goals: 1. Reveal theoretical basis of the opportunities of at-risk adolescents’ (aged 12-14) internet abuse at school prevention. 2. Identify expression, reasons and problems of at-risk adolescents’ (aged 12-14) internet abuse. 3. Evaluate adolescents’ (12-14) and teachers’ attitude to the opportunities of at-risk teenagers’ internet abuse at school prevention. 4. Make offers for teachers on how to carry out prevention of at-risk adolescents’ internet abuse at school. Methods of research: analysis of scientific literature, partially structured interview, written survey, analysis of content, statistical methods of research. Results of the research revealed that at-risk adolescents are more likely to spend more time surfing the internet. They use internet more often due to lack of different activity, convenient access to internet, interesting games. Results also revealed that parents’ occupation, lack of attention and low competence of foster parents can be related to at-risk adolescents’ internet abuse. It has been revealed that boys are more competitive than girls in games, they visit porno sites more often. Younger teenagers tend to visit internet cafes and social websites more frequently. The research revealed that at-risk adolescents have the following health problems caused by internet abuse: visual impairment, tiredness, headaches, backaches and stress. The following social problems were highlighted: social isolation, fair of face to face communication, weakened relationship with the family. The following learning problems showed: worse results, disturbed relationship with teachers. Analysis of research results showed that internet abuse prevention programme at school is insufficient as is not oriented to risk group adolescents, it lacks variety of preventative activity, cooperation between school and parents and other social partners is not developed, teachers lack knowledge on solution of the problem. It has been established that the process must be improved with the help of the following means: creation of safe internet environment at school, improvement of teachers’ competence, encouragement of cooperation between family and school, organization of occupational activities, variety of preventative activity and more attention of the society to the problem.
