Prayer is a basis for Christian spirituality. Prayer leads to a relationship between God and man while art is a measure helping to recognize and to develop this relationship. In this case, art becomes an element of spiritual counseling. “The Interior Castle” by Carmelite, St. Theresa of Avila, the seven-mansion model, became a basis while creating prayer and art therapy integrated project “Journey to the Soul Castle”. Eight themesare distinguished: recognition of oneself and his/her poverty, internal, devotional, peaceful, conjoing prayer, obstacles to love, and plentitude of love. |
