In the master thesis was performed Lithuanian and foreign literature review about metal corrosion, corrosion protection, analysis and test methods of metals. Metal corrosion and aging in marine environment was investigated: the type of metal corrosion was identified and corrosion rate in marine environment, chemical analysis of corrosion products was performed, hardness of metal was tested, yield strength, tensile strength and strain of metal were tested, corrosion products were identified, chemical analysis of metal was performed. |
