Master’s Thesis is analyzed very actual and scientific themes. The main task was to how to improve educational programmes. The work discusses some main problems of informatics curriculum development process and proposes a way to apply systems engineering methods and tools to perform the curriculum development task. The author (together with his superviser and J. Tekutov) has proposed semi-formal curriculum development procedure based on the use of requiremets engineering methods and tools. This work discusses the problematic fields of informatics curriculum modernization in universities and high school founding, evaluation method and requirement analysis. Several CASE tools were assessed and the IBM Rational RequisitePro tool is selected and applied to the proposed curriculum development procedure. In particular, the Klaipėda University informatics engineering curriculum is designed based on newly developed requirements database and its analysis methods. |
