| Abstract [eng] |
Divorce, family decay has large and long-lasting psychological and social outcomes for all family members. Scientific research identified that divorce is one of the main psychological stressors which influences divorcing parents, children and reduces the possibilities of successful integration into society. Divorce has a negative impact on parents and children’s economic living conditions, family often has to adapt to lower income, new roles and responsibilities, new ways of interaction, another order at home. In a family torn by conflicts parents often are unable not only to help children to control emotions but cannot overcome stress themselves. The problematic question of the thesis is: what kind of help is necessary and who has to provide it in order to continue performing parents’ functions after divorce. |
