While developing a mobile WSN based cargo monitoring and control system, it is very important to foresee all the advantages and disadvantages of such system. Where the main advantage is that all the important information on the cargo damage can be sent to appropriate users in advance. It not only saves valuable time, but also money. Nevertheless, there are some disadvantages concerning the limited energy resources in the WSN nodes and the reliability of the transferred data. The appropriate control of these parameters could increase the the efficiency of the developed system by extending the networks lifetime. The main objective of this work is to model a cargo monitoring and control system based on the optimum usage of nodes energy resources and the highest gathered information reliability. |
