Although from the year 1923 Klaipeda (former Memel) sea port became the part of Lithuania, the long way had to be walked before establishing the national merchant fleet. The exploitation and integration of Klaipeda sea port in Lithuania’s economical and foreign trade structures influenced merchant fleet’s matter a lot. |
