Abstract [eng] The theme of the research work: Soubrette voice type characters in the operas of W. A. Mozart, G Verdi, and G. Puccini composers. The purpose of the research work – is to analyse soubrette voice type and its characters and its portrayal in the operas of W. A. Mozart, G. Verdi, and G. Puccini composers. Relevance of the topic – this topic is relevant and new, because of the lack of Lithuanian and other scientific literature about soubrette voice type. This research offers valuable insights for young singers in selecting the right repertoire and roles at the beginning of their career. The problematic issue - a lack of precision in the concept of soubrette voice type. The main question is: is this voice type classified as a vocal voice type or as a theatrical character and does this voice type evolve into other voice types. Tasks – to define the characteristics of the soubrette voice type, to analyse the characters of the soubrette voice type in the operas of W. A. Mozart, G. Puccini, to analyse the parts of these roles in claviers and to compare different performances in opera productions.
