Abstract [eng] |
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera 'The Marriage of Figaro' is one of the most frequently staged operas and an audience favourite, and is undoubtedly regarded as the ideal example and excellence of this genre of opera. The music, which requires extremely precise vocal technique, is the choice of beginner singers due to its extremely comfortable vocal tessitura. This work focuses on the opera's main character, Count Almaviva. His character is relevant because it is one of the more difficult parts of Mozart's operas, requiring adequate preparation and stamina. The character in question is proud but at the same time comic. The role of Count Almaviva, the character examined in the work, remains relevant in the repertoire of every aspiring baritone. |
