The subject of this work is the musical and dramaturgical characteristics of Gilda – one of the main characters in G. Verdi’s opera “Rigoletto”. Verdi is known as a patriarch of opera who impressed the whole world with his works. Because of his well-educated ability to perfectly understand human voice he was able to compose one of the most beautiful and often the most complex melodies for soloists. G. Verdi’s most famous operas stand out with expressive characters, and melodious expressions of the twists and turns of their personal lives, also expressiveness and colorfulness of composed music. Problem: When choosing a new part, it is very important to find out whether the chosen role corresponds to the capabilities of the performer's voice. The part of the role of Gilda requires good vocal technique, psychological endurance, and the ability to convey a wide range of the role. Then the question arises, what should be the preparation of the soloist to perform the part successfully? |
