Abstract [eng] |
The term syncretism of music and sound effects describes a type of soundtrack found in cinema that describes the close relationship between music and sound effects. This connection manifests itself in certain technical aspects: synchronicity, timbre, sound pitch, parametric union, and others. At the end of 2017, issues of syncretism came into the wider discussion space. Edgar Wright's action crime film "Baby Driver" (English "Baby Driver") was released at that time. According to critics, it is one of the most successful films, in which the whole film is based on the principle of inseparability of music and sound effects - syncretism. This film has become something of a benchmark in the world of syncretic soundtracks. This paper discusses various artistic and technical aspects that influence the creation of syncretic scenes. After discussing these aspects, recommendations for creating a syncretic soundtrack are presented. |
