Abstract [eng] Utilization of ships is one of the most important problem that concerns most counties on the planet. Third world countries are not meeting the requirements of ulitization of ships. These counties can cause serious problems, because rising intensity of ship recycling processes threatens ecosystem and people‘s health. Marine Environment Division, International Maritime Organization in 2009 declared The Honk Kong International convention for the safe and enivonmentally sound recycling of ships. The results of scientific literature analysis shows who Hong Kong convention started and evolved including studies of older convensions. New materials and construction processes are reviewed in this work in pursuance of safe and eco-friendly decisions. Object of study: living quarters of „OFON Phase II“ platform. Purpose of study - carry out analysis of stacionary platform‘s living quarters project and construction desicions making according to Honk Kong International convention for the safe and enivonmentally sound recycling of ships. Problem of study – failure to comply The Hong Kong convensions requirements for the safe and enivonmentally sound recycling of ships. Hipothesis: object of study meets The Hong Hong convention requirements despite being constructed according to another requirements. Goal of study: Review today‘s construction metods of building platforms and choosing materials; analyze The Hong Kong convention requirements; review platform‘s cycle of live and relate them with the requirements of the Hong Kong convention; analyze the most important stages of creating project and building platform according to the Hong Kong convention. Methods of study: analysis, comparison, deduction, investigative practice.
