Abstract [eng] The research paper examines the interpretative diversity of the 20th century composer Eino Tamberg's (1930-2010) Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra Op. 42. The Estonian composer was one of the most prominent creators of Estonian music. His music is distinguished by modernist elements, rich harmony and emotional depth. This master‘s thesis also discusses the features of the composer's work, stylistic curiosities and the significance of the concerto not only in the history of Estonian music, but also in the wider trumpet repertoire. The second part of the research paper presents a comparative analysis of E. Tamberg's Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra Op. 42 variety of interpretations. The performers from three different trumpet schools were selected for the study: David Hickman, Timofei Dokshizer and Philip Smith The material collected and analyzed in this research work about E. Tamberg's creative legacy for the trumpet will make it easier for the reader to understand the composer's musical style and features, as well as the compositional structure, stylistics and artistic significance of this work. Readers will learn how trumpeters from different pedagogical schools interpret this work, what are the differences and common tendencies in their performance. This will help performers expand their interpretive arsenal, allowing them to better understand the performance options of the work and the artistic decisions made. It can also become valuable material for aspiring performers who want to better understand the tendencies in the performance of this work and discover their own unique interpretive path.
