That book is a study book for ships‘engineers and it is prepared on the basis of IMO recommendations. The first part of this book is about history of turbines creation, basis principles of turbines working, comparison of turbines and diesel engines. There are talking about cycle theory in gas producers and turbines, effective parameters analysis in the second part of this book. Basics of thermodynamics processes in turbine engines’ are demonstrated in the third part. Fourth and fifth parts are about centrifugal and pivotal compressors’ and turbo compressors’ constructions. Sixth part of that book is about constructions of gas and steam elements. Seventh part is about technical exploitation of turbines. |
