| Abstract [eng] |
The article deals with bibliotherapy, reading and life quality coherence. Culture in knowledge society cannot be separated from public and free word in book. The public word in book and mass media are important in many respects. Any restraints encroach on hyman's quality of life. The action of forbidding something (for example, to use a national language) - an evident dishonor for all nation's quality of life.Article purpose - to analyse concepts: 1) quality of life, 2) reading and 3) bibliothcrapy connections. Every concept used in the title of the report has more than one meaning. T h e quality of life is spread and often used as a concept. To increase the quality means to d o something in a better way or oppositely. In the article concrete indicators arc supported with expressed and measured term quality of life which is connected with concrete country's citizens welfare and social development. There arc three main indicators of social development: Literacy rate, Life expectancy and Capital stock. According to them enumerated index is also called as the quality of life by s o m e of the scientists (Baris К. Yoruk, Osman Zaim). T h e ideas of this article arc supported according to this point of view. All the three indicators which describe society's quality of life can be associated with reading. There is a possible presumption that reading skills and its successful usage depend on the education achievements - Literacy rate (the first indicator of the quality of life). T h e quality of life is expressed also through other two indicators' influence, which arc: 1. H o w m u c h of time realistically person has and will have for reading (indicator Life expectancy - h o w long docs the person going to live, - it docs not include concrete person's intention to give one's time or not, or h o w much to give one's attention for such activity from his/her own free time). D o c s the acquired education encourage person to remain curious and look for wisdom while reading all the life? 2 . In the limits of second indicator's (the level of Capital stock) quality of life, the question is formulated: how much of financial possibilities the person can allocate for desired activity (it refers to if person's level Capital stock let him/her to satisfy reading requi rements - limiting the possibility to buy the desired documents). Will the acquired education encourage the person to attribute books and other kinds of documents to the needful resources which arc necessary for achieving normal level of life. Conclusion: In the work concepts arc analyzed: the quality of life, reading and bibliothcrapy which arc connected and its interdependent interaction can be defined as: Bibliothercųy supported by technologies of reading and dialogues can be used as a method making better person's quality of life. |
