Abstract [eng] Real economic benefits may lead to an aggressive tourism development, regardless of the host region's tourist infrastructure and resource loading capabilities, which in the long term, more linked to the negative impact of tourism in the region's economy and competitiveness in the international market failures. Sustainable tourism development meets the needs of present tourists and host regions while protecting and enhancing opportunities for the future. It is envisaged as leading to management of all resources in such a way that economic, social, and aesthetic needs can be fulfilled while maintaining cultural integrity, essential ecological processes, biological diversity, and life support systems. The aim of this article – to indetify the influence of a tourism development on regional economic growth and valuation changes. Research methods - based on the theoretical concept of tourism development, tourism development carried out in the current criteria for assessing the impact analysis using systemic. logical and critical analysis techniques, in conjunction theory of international tourism development and policy trends. The main research results – summarizing of indicators of tourism development.The tourism development and the effects of differences in assumptions of tourism development are discussed in the article.
