Abstract [eng] In recent years, rather intensive regional tourism industry is development is observed in Lithuania. However, all the more urgent becomes the question of its development and relevant aspects of the duality of social and cultural impacts of regional tourism. The purpose of this study is to identify on which level of touristic process development socio-cultural impact appears and evaluate quantitative and qualitative aspects of this influence. Relevance. In order to prepare properly the development of regional tourism and new tourism products strategies in attractive areas and in whole country it is often confronted with problematic and complexity of sociocultural analysis. Socio-cultural impact of regional tourism impact on the host society and the relationship between tourists are the most interest, but also the most problematic area of research in the tourism sector. Properly managed regional tourism promotes appropriate preventive measures by fostering environment, and analyzing socio-cultural impact in terms of duality. Problem. Regional tourism socio-cultural impact evaluation and complexity of analysis reason – sociocultural impact of duality. For this reason, it is often difficult to investigate and determine what the impact is more relevant – the destination country of the public or tourists. Moreover, this impact is assumed negative social and cultural influences occur and lead to the formation of the country's image.
