Abstract [eng] The competition of Klaipėda seaport organizations stimulates search of untraditional methods for the improvement the competitive environment. Environmental pollution problems, decisions of different scale of the social level, and economic situation constitute the boundaries of enterprise responsibility which any modern organization must comply. Logistic organizations face the influence of those factors in their daily routine. To summarize the data of the analysis and research, it is recommended to closer relate the idea of integration of sustainable development into the port logistic activity to the profit received by the organization and the prerequisites of competitiveness.
