| Abstract [eng] |
The main aim of this Master’s work is to determine similarities and differences between leadership in a professional and amateur choir. Tasks of the Master’s work: to submit a theoretical analysis of a choir conductor’s personality, to uncover peculiarities between leadership in a professional and amateur choir, to perform a research on similarities and differences between leadership in a professional and amateur choir, to prepare suggestions and recommendations. The results of the Master’s work: submited theoretical analysis of a choir conductor’s personality. Survey of choir members and heads has been performed in five different choirs in Vilnius and Kaunas. The results of a survey were analyzed and allowed to set the similarities and differences between leadership in a professional and amateur choir. In the Master’s work factors to improve choir conductor’s personality were determined and suggestions how to improve choir’s activity were given. The main conclusions: after performing theoretical analysis of personality and surveying choir members and heads factors were determined which let to determine similarities and differences between leadership in a professional and amateur choir. |
