Abstract [eng] Participants of the research: Wives whose husband periodically work and live in another country. Research methods: Qualitative research was carried out, data was collected by a semi-structured interview method and thematic analysis according to Braun and Clarke was applied. Results: The findings revealed that the experience of the wives in the transnational family is related to: the perception of the spouse's departure as a way of solving the difficulties and the resulting uncomfortable feelings such as anger and his expressions, pain of separation, anxiety about the relationship between father and children, longing, grief, helplessness and fear of survival and, in some cases, tend to hide them from a man. Experiences are also characterized by the experience of increased responsibility and daily worries, the organization of daily activities, depending on whether the man has returned home or left. In addition, wives whose men work periodically and live in another country tend to regard their relationship with their husband as being subject to change because of a man's emigration. They interpret life and the flow of time as permeated waiting and divided into the spuose's return and departure stages. The period when a husband comes back, perceived as a feast in the family, changes the rhythm of his wife's life, and in some cases seeks to be a perfect wife. Participants' attitudes towards transnational families and couples have negative connotations.
