Abstract [eng] The objective of master thesis is to determine the state of interaction of stakeholders in the region of Telšiai. Regional governance is important and useful because local government is more accessible to people. Problems relevant to the region are solved more efficiently, closer by the stakeholders. Interaction between actors in regional governance is strictly regulated by law. Strong manifestations of regionalism in regional decision-making are identified. The main stakeholders at the regional level are local and central government representatives and business and citizens' organizations. The theory points out that at regional level, the greatest interactions occurs is in the Regional Development Council. The influence of municipal representatives is expressed through decision-making, but there is a lack of interaction between other stakeholders. This is due to the inactive involvement of non-governmental organizations and business and their at regional level. The study points out that interactions between stakeholders in the Telšiai region can be improved by the following means increasing funding, to empower decision-making, increasing accountability to the public, involving non-governmental organization and businesses more actively.
