Women experiencing divorce in many cases remain confronted with their pain, sorrow and broken dreams of happy family life. Surviving this difficult period requires much support that is coordinated and specialized, that provided assistance would be exceptional in order to give woman spiritual support experiencing divorce crisis. This is phenomenon that is becoming more and more \"understood\" in the society today, which highlights need of this topic analysis in order to identify causes leading to such choice and to identify methods that can provide spiritual assistance to women who are experiencing divorce crisis. The article presents the results of the qualitative study on spiritual assistance for women experiencing divorce crisis, conducted on March – April 2019. During the research it became clear that ecclesiastical marriage is important for woman's life and her positive self-esteem. Time after divorce is complex and has negative consequences: economic, self-esteem, psychological and spiritual problems, condemnation from the environment, painful experience, moral collapse and loss. The main causes of divorce are different attitudes to life, infidelity and harmful habits. It became clear that during and after divorce, women's self-esteem is adversely affected. Women experience powerlessness, nothing worthwhile when they are divorced. During divorce, femininity is injured, negative feelings and experiences are experienced, negative reflections are formed, which have a significant influence decreasing female self-esteem. The research showed that models of spiritual help for women who survive divorce crisis found that all models of spiritual help for women in divorce crisis are useful and important if they are used. The loss of self-esteem, dignity, increased self-confidence, reduced spiritual pain, and the discovery of self-reliance are being restored receiving spiritual help. After divorce women seek and participate in divorced groups, self-help groups, communicate with psychologists and psychotherapists, join the Catholic community, participate in divorced pastoral care, seek help from relatives. A woman who turns to God is driven by guilt, seeking peace and seeking help, seeking spiritual reinforcement. The Spiritual Assistance Model is spiritual escort, which is highly regarded . |
