Great influence of sea ports for economic development of countries stimulates various scientific studies, which would motivate these organizations for faster development. Rapid development only in an economic level does not correspond to the issues of today, since national strategies of most of the countries (in relation to organizational development) set priorities for sustainable organizational development. Analyzing the article on sea port development, the factors of those developments are being discussed. The discussion is about the criteria op sea port security for operations that include nine distinct spheres. Also, the article directly discusses the development of sea ports in a context of sustainable overall development, which is an undividable part of the research. According to collected theoretical and practical data assessing environmental, strategic administrations and sustainable development of the principles and systems, the article examines the transformation process of sea ports into a sustainable organization. |
