In the final thesis, using the analysis method of scientific literature, the beginning of professional ethics is introduced: separation from general ethics, reasons, goals, basic principles, formation till today. Analyzing codes of ethics: their concept, origin, evolution. Codes of Ethics comparing with Codes of Conduct. Looking in the development of codes: their aims, content, values, compatibility of interests, basic principles. Analyzing the application of codes in activity and evaluation of effectiveness. Highlighting the special importance of ethics, of persons holding post in the service of Lithuania Republic. By using the method of comparative analysis: analysis of scientific literature, compared with the document analysis of the Codes of Ethics and Conducts (17 Lithuanian Civil Servants Ethic). Identifying problematic aspects of codes (ethics and conducts) and identifying possible ways to improve them. |
