The aim of the work - to analyze the manifestation of multiculturalism and professional ethical standards in academic activities. The thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters, a list of sources and literature and appendices. The first part reviews the importance of multiculturalism in the context of globalization where the concept and essence of globalization is analyzed and multiculturalism as a phenomenon is analyzed. The second part analyzes the problems of pedagogical ethical behavior in the aspect of professional ethical standards. The third part is devoted to the research on the manifestation of professional ethical standards and multiculturalism in academic activities, the case of Lithuanian language and culture courses. The analysis of theoretical and practical aspects of the work leads to the conclusion that working with varied multiculturalism students face one or another problems caused by multiculturalism, which can be distinguished into problems caused by political, cultural mentality, religious affiliation and personal. Analyzing the respondents' opinions on the researched topic, it can be stated in general that all what respondents call multicultural problems in their work is solved by common human and professional ethics. |
