The thesis evaluates the socio-economic attractiveness of Lithuanian municipalities. Theoretical part analyzes the attractiveness of areas for residents, tourists and investors and the underlying socio-economic factors. The empirical part examines the attractiveness of Lithuanian municipalities using average migration, tourism and investment rates. Grouping municipalities by attractiveness reveals their differences and the underlying socio-economic reasons. Recommendations on reduction of municipal attractiveness issues are provided. |
