Recently has been noticed that children in the young age encounter various problems such as uncontrolled behaviour and emotions, bullies, different kinds of violence, unfavourable social environment or parental alcoholism. The scientific literature suggests that increasing problems in the child environment have a rather negative impact on the child‘s further development and life. Apparently the need of social pedagogue has been growing in preschool educational institutions in order to ensure the necessary help and assistance for the children while solving the issues. Lithuanian researchers D. Ciparytė, A. Bagdonas , S. Burvidytė, have analysed the problems which the social pedagogue helps children to solve; they made efforts to interpret the causes of the aggressive child behaviour, early stage help and prevention, analysed the social family’s life, and described the family support model. Whereas foreign researchers analysed the importance of a social pedagogue in educational institutions, described their functions, and provided recommendations for solving families’ problems. |
