| Abstract [eng] |
Scientific study analyzing Catholic religious education in early youth was chosen as a basis for this article. Religiosity is understood here as a multidimensional social-psychological characteristic of personality that connects these structural components: cognitive (knowledge, understanding, beliefs), emotional (feelings, beliefs associated with the emotions, experiences), behavioral (religious activities, rituals, cult), identificational (belonging to confession or awareness of faith) and normative – value (moral and ethical norms, values). The article presents theoretical assumptions of the study and some of the results of the empirical diagnostic of the study. By using questionnaire method, a study was carried out in 2010–2011 school year in Lithuanian high schools (gymnasiums) among third grade students (1,367 respondents). Methods of research: analysis of literature, questioner, synthesis, abstraction. |
