This research aims to reveal that Catholic religious education in early youth is actualized in gymnasium III grade by the integration of the module of Catholic religious popular piety and strengthening students’ musical expression. The article presents some of the major problems of this research and its theoretical-methodological assumptions. The experiment done in 2010–2011 in Klaipėda Žemynos gymnasium and its data are discussed, revealing Catholic religious education expression through popular piety music (song, singing) and its changes in trends. The study involved 25 students of gymnasium III grade (12 girls and 13 boys). Methods of research: questionnaires, essays, statistical and phenomenological data analysis, systematization, generalization. |
