The article is concerned with the subjective circumstances necessary for a successful professional activity in social work. It focuses on the subjective side of the profession, namely, the social worker personality. An attempt is being made to show that/how the social worker personality features reflect the social worker’s relationship with the chosen profession and the quality level of professional activity. The article offers the description of social worker’s personality features in terms of philosophical (understanding the meaning and giving sense to social work profession), and psychological (motivation, communication ability) aspects. |
