The article deals with social educational researches carried out in foreign countries, orientated to traditional and non-traditional age university students and, based on demographic factors, describes their social educational situation. The model of social educational researches of traditional and non-traditional age university students is analyzed, the influence of demographic factors on the differences in students’ approaches towards university studies is highlighted based on the experience of foreign scientists. The importance of foreign scientific research in adult education and learning process is disclosed and the necessity of new social demographic research in andragogy is grounded; the guidelines for future research areas, practical implications and proposals are presented. |
