Abstract [eng] A ship system includes specialized piping with mechanisms, armature/ fitting, and equipment, where all elements perform certain functions. In laying ship piping steel, copper and plastic are used most often. Steel is used most widely – in systems of sanitation, waste water, fresh water and sea water. Pipes of copper alloys are used when pipes function in more aggressive environments: for cooling using outboard water, fire extinguishing systems, also supply of oil and its products. Plastic pipes are installed in heating, ventilation, drinking and washing water systems. Developing technologies and growing demands require new materials which satisfy necessary functions, serve longer and are more reliable and easier to use. Corzan C-P VC and ABS plastic can replace the most widely used steel pipes in sanitation and waste water systems. Materials can serve for about 50 years, they are very corrosion proof, therefore they are suitable in sea water systems. GRE pipes are one of the most universal alternatives to copper and steel pipes. These pipes can be used in the largest variety of systems. Upon installation of piping using GRE, ABS plastic and corzan C-P VC, its reliability would increase and price and weight would decrease.
