During the Fourth Industrial Revolution, industry began to make fundamental changes in the way it organized its work. While implementing new technologies and innovations into everyday processes, companies started to notice the lack of innovative and competent employees. Due to this situation, companies must slow down their activities, defects in manufacturing increases, etc. The aim of the research was to empirically study the essential problems of the role of innovative competencies during the fourth industrial revolution and to create a model for the development of innovative competencies for more productive activities of organizations and possible scenarios. A qualitative study conducted by in-depth interviews confirmed the fact that companies are already facing this problem. The presented plan for the development of innovative competencies and the scenario of possible actions provide an opportunity for the practical application of scientific work. |
