Abstract [eng] Composite material are increasingly used in various types of transport due to their properties compared to traditional materials. However, in composite materials there are no endurance limit to their durability. Therefore, after reaching certain number of deformations, the composite materials are damaged. So it is important to record occurring deformations in composite materials to avoid catastrophic consequences. After analyzing composite materials and their deformations measurement systems, requirement and suggestions for the new composite body deformation system was created. The developed system consists of two parts: deformation measurement device and external information system, Testing was divided into two seperate parts: deformation measurement device and external information system. In the deformation measurement device every software module was tested. During testing of the strain measurement data was compared with commercially available strain gauge Spider8. During deformation strain saving testing, SD card was tested and finally strain data transimission was tested using MQTT protocol. During external information system the functional requirements were checked. Also compalitity test was performed with various devices and browsers. Then prototype was integrated into the body of electric city bus „Dancer“ and tested in real conditions.
