The aim is to analyze the possibilities of optimizing the transportation of goods in temperature – controlled containers. To achieve the goal, the following tasks are set: 1) to investigate the forecast of flows of cargo transportation in temperature mode containers by multi – criteria method for 2020 – 2030 years; 2) to form an optimal transport chain for the selected route and to perform an assessment of transport competitiveness; 3) to investigate the use and efficiency of the necessary container – refrigerator storage areas in Klaipeda port, according to the planned cargo flows; 4) to perform SWOT analysis of cargo transportation in temperature – controlled containers. This work reviews the transportation, packaging and loading of goods in temperature – controlled containers. It also provides information on the flows of temperature – controlled containers in Klaipeda port, the situation of infrastructure and superstructure and the influence of transportation participants on transportation. |
