Abstract [eng] |
Reviewing the repertoires of today's most famous violinists, as well as the requirements of various competitions and auditions, one of the most popular concerts for violin and orchestra is the Concerto for Violin in D major by German composer Johannes Brahms, Op.77, the only concert in his creative biography. The concert is dedicated to the Hungarian virtuoso Joseph Joachim, who contributed significantly to the creation of the violin party. The fact that this piece was written for the most famous violinist of the time shows the complexity of this concert. The concert requires huge technical challenges from the violinist performing the piece. This master 's thesis discusses the origins of the instrumental concert genre, highlights the peculiarities of J. Brahms' work and analyzes the interpretations of three different generations of violinists David Oistrach, Hilary Hahn and Veriko Tchumburidze. This work becomes a relevant source in Lithuanian for every violinist who intends to perform J. Brahms' Concerto for Violin. |
