Abstract [eng] This thesis explores the effect of body perception on the pianist's technique. It describes the causes of injuries to pianist's hands and explores ways to prevent injuries. General principles of body movement relevant to pianists are presented. It also explores what determines the quality of a performer's movements, where bad habits of body movement come from and what good habits of body movement are in piano technique. In this thesis, professors of piano at the LMTA are interviewed and their answers are analysed by qualitative comparative analysis. The results of the research methods conclude that the effect of body perception has a positive influence on the pianist's technique. Body perception helps to recognise the general principles of body movement, forms good skills, prevents tension and injuries, improves the quality of the pianist's movements and helps the performer to realise the tasks of the work.
