Abstract [eng] |
Improvisation in the context of theater is usually perceived as a technique used during rehearsals, which helps actors to behave more freely on stage, to look for new elements of expression, to solve deeper action, to develop not only physical but also verbal scales of expression. Theatrical improvisation is mostly used for pedagogical purposes - to develop the previously mentioned qualities. The aim of this artistic research is to find improvisational types and use them at the moment of performing the performance, when the actor uses different elements of improvisation on stage. Also reveal and describe the problem - what are the most important rules of improvisation needed for an actor to improvise well during a performance. Information has been gathered on commedia dell’arte and modern theaters that use improvisation in their work. The types of improvisation discovered are described at different stages: in the process of creating a role, in the process of creating a performance, and in the process of performing in a play. To help the research, it was chosen to explain the concept of theatrical improvisation in four parts. Individual, in the group, external and internal improvisation. Artistic practice is used to achieve the goal of the research. A method for analyzing a problem. To analyze my personal experience in more detail, I chose autoethnographic method or to be more precised – its basic rules. Based on the collected various materials, the work of the practical part called “Act M” was created and presented in a collective work. |
