The master's thesis analyzes the possibilities of implementing the conversion of brownfields. The paper consists of introduction, 3 main chapters, conclusions and suggestions, references and appendixes. Introduction presents the relevance of the topic, the problem of the topic, the purpose of the work and the tasks to achieve the aim are determined. The first chapter analyzes different scientific articles and literature about brownfields, conversion and how it contributes to the sustainable development of the city. The second chapter analyzes foreign good practice - examples of the conversion of brownfields in various countries. The third chapter presents the material obtained during the experts interviews, the indicators of Vilnius city are evaluated. After completing the SWOT analysis of the implementation possibilities of the brownfields conversion of Vilnius city and the cause-effect diagram, proposals are presented to improve the conversion possibilities of the abandoned territories. The thesis is summarized with conclusions and recommendations. The scope of the thesis - 80 p. without appendices, 15 figures, 9 tables, 89 bibliographic sources, 1 appendix. |
