This master's thesis examines the innovative design of activities in companies in the crop production sector, in the context of the circular economy. The main theoretical aspects are presented in the analysis of the concept of innovative activity, complexity, theoretical models, the concept and specificity of the crop sector, the concept and models of the circular economy. By applying an expert study, factors promoting and inhibiting the development of innovations in the crop production sector were determined, statistical data analysis was performed. A design model of innovative activities in the crop production sector, applying the principles of circularity, is presented. The conclusions contain concrete observations and suggestions. The work consists of: introduction, analysis of theories for the design of innovative activities of the crop production sector in the context of the circular economy, study of crop production development trends in the development system of the agricultural sector, conclusions, recommendations and suggestions, bibliography and appendices.
