This master's thesis explores trombone extended techniques in the work of trombonist, writer and composer Stuart Dempster. The biography of the composer, the process of music creation and his works are reviewed. Briefly describes the extended techniques that came into use in the middle of the 20th century. This paper reviews and analyzes the works of this composer and his goals for creating the album. The work consists of an introduction, two chapters, conclusions, and a bibliography. The introduction discusses the relevance of the topic, the research goal, object, work tasks and discusses the literature sources used. The first chapter discusses the historical context that led to the development of extended techniques and summarization of works with references and examples. The second chapter discusses the biography of Stuart Dempster, the analysis of music albums and his work and extended techniques. At the end of the work, the conclusions of the work are summarized with links to sources and appendices. |
