The aim of the master's thesis is to analyze the possibilities of development of wooden public buildings in Lithuania, based on the good practice of foreign countries, to present proposals to promote development. The work consists of: introduction, 3 main parts, conclusions and suggestions, list of used literature. In the introductory part, the relevance of the topic is named, the goals and tasks of the work are determined. The first part of the thesis reviews the concept of public buildings, analyzes the development of buildings in the context of sustainability, reviews the advantages of wooden construction in the development of sustainable public buildings. The second part presents examples of good practice from Scandinavian countries, modern wooden constructions and construction methods. In the third part, the development of wooden public buildings in Lithuania is analyzed, implemented and planned projects are presented, and PEST and SWOT analyzes are performed. Conclusions and suggestions are presented at the end of the paper, and a list of references is attached. Thesis consists of: 78 pages, 7 tables, 42 pictures, 97 bibliographic sources. |
