The Master's thesis examines the impact of internationality at home on the quality of collegiate studies. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses the development of Lithuanian colleges in 2000-2023. The concept of internationalisation, its motives are examined. The differences between "internationalism at home", "internationalism abroad" and "comprehensive internationalism" are discussed. The quality of Lithuanian higher education institutions in terms of internationalisation is examined, EU and national legislation and documents regulating and analysing the international activities of colleges are reviewed. The empirical part analyses the experts' views on the concept of internationalisation, the objectives of internationalisation, the educational and social environment, and the external and internal quality assessment instruments used. The results of the study, the impact of internationalisation at home on the quality of studies are reviewed, and insights and recommendations are provided. |
