In the context of modern education, with constantly changing technological, social and economic conditions, the role of the school principal becomes a key factor in building community based on the cooperation. The school principal as a strategist and a catalyst for changes, must develop a culture of communication, identify the values of the organisation and promote collaborative processes. The key factors that enhance collaboration include clear communication, shared goals, transformational leadership, emotional intelligence, a welcoming social environment and an appropriate use of technology. In addition, school principals need strong competences in communication, strategic thinking and motivation. The purpose of the survey. To highlight the role of a school principal in building a community based on the cooperation. The objectives of the survey: 1. To analyse the concept of a community based on the cooperation, its structural components, their interactions and the prerequisites for their creation. 2. To examine the role of the school principal in developing of cooperation and community. 3. To uncover the experiences of school principals in building a community based on the cooperation. The survey respondents: principals of national minority schools from the NN district, surveyed 6 school principals. The methods of the survey: the theoretical analysis of scientific literature and legislation to shed light on the topic. Empirical - semi-structured interviews. The content analysis method was used to analyse the survey data. The results of the survey. The empirical study found that the concept of school community encompasses relationships, trust and shared values that form the basis for a community based on the cooperation. Such a community is defined as a dynamic, active group of members working towards common goals. The school principal plays a key role here: through open communication, mediation activities and conflict prevention, he or she maintains a harmonious atmosphere and effective cooperation. The results of the study show that effective community building requires the following key factors: early conflict prevention, open communication and managerial empathy. Developing a school principal's emotional intelligence, active listening, leadership, transparent communication and strategic thinking contributes to building a strong, trusting and innovative community. These competences not only foster an inclusive and motivated environment, but also enable long-term collaboration and professional development. |
