Abstract [eng] Topic: Possibilities for the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Learning in Grades III-IV of Gymnasiums. Aim: To analyze the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in the teaching and learning process. Methodology: The study was conducted to analyze the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in the learning process of Grades III-IV in gymnasiums. Data were collected using a quantitative methodology by conducting surveys among students and teachers. The questionnaires were designed based on the concepts discussed in the theoretical part and aimed to test two main hypotheses: 1) the integration of artificial intelligence into the learning process enhances students' motivation, and 2) artificial intelligence provides teachers with the ability to manage the teaching process more effectively. The data were analyzed using statistical methods to assess the reliability of the questionnaires and the trends in respondents' answers. Results of the research: The empirical study revealed that artificial intelligence (AI) technologies can significantly contribute to the improvement of the teaching and learning process in Grades III-IV of gymnasiums. However, their integration is currently limited due to teachers' lack of experience and varying levels of technological skills. Students more actively use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Photomath, and Duolingo, which help them solve tasks, complete homework, and improve learning quality. Teachers primarily use AI tools for lesson planning and task creation but rarely incorporate them directly into their work with students. AI tools are most commonly utilized in mathematics, foreign language, and IT classes, while their integration into moral and physical education lessons remains minimal. These tools aid in personalizing the teaching and learning process by addressing individual students' needs, boosting their motivation and self-confidence. However, teachers often view these technologies with caution. Despite this cautious attitude, teachers emphasize the benefits of AI in lesson planning and task creation.
