Abstract [eng] |
Purpose of this thesis is to investigate the impact resistance for three different chine types of small fishing trawlers. Indroduced main theory about hull resistance. Using automated ship hull design software “Delftship” modeled free different types hulls with different types of chines. The paper presents the methods and recommendations for modeling the corrent computational fluid dynamics experiment. CFD simulation was created with “Flow 3D”. A comparison of numerical resistance values was made. Using computational software “Autohydro” evaluation of hydrostatic properties was made. Evaluated influence of bulbous bow for hull resistance. Recommendations about optimal fishing trawler chine shape and hull geometry was introduced. |
